Jo Ann is a land use planner with extensive experience in land use development, transit planning, obtaining project approvals, authoring grant applications, zoning ordinances and comprehensive plans. Her studies provide achievable goals and realistic implementation schedules. She also understands what criteria are required to successfully be awarded grant dollars. She works to ensure that the needs of all involved parties are established early in a process that leads to a true partnership and viable project.

Jo Ann was project manager of Hubbard Marketplace, which received recognition with the 1000 Friends of Minnesota (Smart Growth Award) and the Preservation Alliance of Minnesota (Achievement Award finalist). She also authored "Multi-Modal Minnesota."

Jo Ann is a member of the American Planning Association, the Minnesota Planning Association, and has received certification through the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).
