LSA Design was commissioned to evaluate transit services and needs within the City of Hopkins and the Hopkins School District.  Once LSA identified transit providers / recipients and transit needs, improved transit service was proposed, support of an expanded transit system was secured, and potential funding sources were identified.  The study successfully determined where gaps in transit service existed within the study area.  LSA developed a realistic implementation strategy for providing improved access to transit by using existing systems (integrating the public school transportation system with public transit).
