This includes the master planning of a transit facility to include a park-and-ride, enclosed passenger facility, restaurants, movie theater, day care, town homes and pedestrian greenway connection to the neighborhood. Partnerships were created with the MN Department of Transportation, Dakota County, City of Apple Valley, Minnesota Valley Transit Authority (MVTA) and private business developers. LSA was the architect and planner for the facility, successfully rezoning the property and gaining municipal approvals for the first mixed-use transit facility in the City. LSA also provided pre-project services including real estate planning and acquisition, preliminary development agreement negotiations and financial planning. Read more in "Connecting a Community."
